Job summary

Triangle Pond Management in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Aquatic Specialist to join our outdoor team. You will manage a maintenance route, inspect stormwater devices, and apply herbicides to control invasive vegetation.

The role requires dependable, detail-oriented individuals who can travel between sites and pass background checks. The work hours are 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays; PTO, holidays, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
• Outdoor work environment; able to work independently.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in lake/pond management or herbicide application preferred.
• Environmental study in fisheries, wildlife, natural resources or environmental science preferred.
• Ability to swim and work around water; strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication; basic to intermediate math for product applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a maintenance route using a company vehicle.
• Inspect stormwater devices and apply herbicides as needed.
• Remove aquatic plants by hand and clear debris to keep systems functioning.

Triangle Pond Management is seeking a full-time Aquatics Specialist to join our team across North Carolina. QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid drivers license and the ability to travel between job sites in a company vehicle
• Comfortable working working independently in an outdoor environment
• 1-2 years proven experience preferred
• Experience in lake and pond management, pest control, or herbicide application preferred
• Environmental study preferred in the following disciplines... Fisheries, Wildlife Management,
  Conservation, Natural Resources, or Environmental Science.
• Ability to swim and comfortable working around water
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic to intermediate math skills to calculate product applications

PAY

• $18–$28 per hour, based on experience and skill

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AQUATIC SPECIALIST

This is a full-time maintenance position, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays.
