Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Manager – Aquatic Safety to support the management of our resort pool decks. This role ensures safety protocols, supervises lifeguards, and maintains high guest service standards while complying with SNHD regulations and resort policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 21+ years old, and hold CPR/AED/First Aid and Lifeguard certifications, with ability to obtain additional certifications within six months.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old
• US work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred
• CPR/AED/First Aid and Lifeguard certifications required
• Ability to obtain STARGUARD Elite or ARC Lifeguard certifications within 6 months
• Familiarity with SNHD regulations and pool safety standards
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety practices on all pool decks for team members and guests.
• Oversee lifeguards and ensure adherence to work methods and safety policies.
• Monitor performance, conduct appraisals, and provide coaching.
• Hire, train, and evaluate team members to meet standards.
• Maintain high guest service and safety standards on pool decks.
• Ensure certifications are current and SNHD requirements are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and supervise departmental tasks to deadlines.
