Houston Physician's Hospital Aquatic Care Therapy Humble is seeking a Full Time Aquatic Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist. The PTA will prepare treatment areas, assist patients with aquatic equipment, and apply prescribed exercises and modalities.

Ideal candidates hold a PTA credential, current BLS certification, and state licensure, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Current BLS certification.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Ability to follow directions and perform multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room for patient following procedures.
• Assist patients onto equipment and perform prescribed exercises.
• Educate patients on proper use of equipment and routines.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and safety.
• Ensure equipment functioning and assist with supplies.
