Job summary

Houston Physicians Hospital Aquatic Care Therapy Humble, operated by United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI), is seeking a Full Time Aquatic Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Humble, TX. The PTA assists with therapy delivery, prepares treatment areas and supplies, and supports the PT and OT teams.

TPA candidates must hold PTA licensure with current BLS certification and maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality within a busy aquatic therapy

Qualifications

• PTA licensure and state certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Associates degree in PTA required.
• Ability to follow directions and multitask in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Assist patients with entering/exiting treatment areas and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper use of equipment and routines.
• Assist with modalities and therapies under PT supervision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a safe clinical environment.
• Order and organize supplies and equipment as needed.
• Support department operations and infection control protocols.
