Job summary

Integrated Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant for the Monroe, NC area to provide aquatic therapy with autonomy and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate extent of a patient's disabilities to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Develop and sustain productive patient relationships.
• Plan aquatic therapy programs and administer treatment to restore body function and strength using aquatic techniques.
• Maintain medical record documentation.
• Supervise PTA and mentor staff as needed.

Essential Functions For Physical Therapists And Physical Therapist Assistants

• Physical Therapists will evaluate the extent of a patient's disabilities to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Makes patients and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; develops and sustains productive patient relationships.
• Plans aquatic therapy programs and administers treatment to restore body function and strength, relieve pain and prevent disability through the use of various therapeutic techniques, such as exercise programs, facilitation techniques, muscle reeducation, gait training, and utilizing the physical properties of the water.
• Maintains medical record documentation.
• PT supervision of PTA and mentoring guidance.
