Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Physical Therapy (PT/PTA) license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
• Requires good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the extent of a patient's disabilities to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Develop and sustain productive patient relationships with a focus on patient needs.
• Plan aquatic therapy programs and administer treatment to restore body function and strength using therapeutic techniques in water.
• Maintain medical record documentation.
• Provide PT supervision of PTA and mentoring guidance.
