Integrated Therapy - Outpatient Aquatic Physical Therapy in Griffin, GA is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate disabilities and develop individualized care plans. You will focus on patient needs, build relationships, and administer aquatic therapy to restore function and reduce pain.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the extent of a patient's disabilities to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Make patients and their needs a primary focus of actions; develop productive patient relationships.
• Plan aquatic therapy programs and administer treatment to restore function and relieve pain using aquatic techniques.
• Maintain medical record documentation.
• Provide PT supervision of PTA and mentoring guidance.

Essential Functions For Physical Therapists And Physical Therapist Assistants

• Physical Therapists will evaluate the extent of a patient's disabilities to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Makes patients and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions; develops and sustains productive patient relationships.
• Plans aquatic therapy programs and administers treatment to restore body function and strength, relieve pain and prevent disability through the use of various therapeutic techniques, such as exercise programs, facilitation techniques, muscle reeducation, gait training, and utilizing the physical properties of the water.
• Maintains medical record documentation.
• PT supervision of PTA and mentoring guidance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Physical Therapy (PT/PTA) license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
• Requires good organizational and time management skills.
