Integrated Therapy - Outpatient Aquatic Physical Therapy in Monroe, NC seeks a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant. The role offers autonomy, flexible scheduling, and no productivity quotas, with independent contractor/1099 options.

You will evaluate disabilities, develop plans of care, plan aquatic therapy programs, and document records while supervising PTA. The clinic emphasizes a calm, low-impact environment and supportive, family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• PT/PTA license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate extent of a patient’s disabilities to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Prioritize patient needs and maintain productive patient relationships.
• Plan aquatic therapy programs and administer treatment to restore function and relieve pain using water-based techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical record documentation.
• Supervise PTA and provide mentoring guidance.

Essential Functions For Physical Therapists And Physical Therapist Assistants

• Physical Therapists will evaluate the extent of a patient's disabilities to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Makes patients and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions; develops and sustains productive patient relationships.
• Plans aquatic therapy programs and administers treatment to restore body function and strength, relieve pain and prevent disability through the use of various therapeutic techniques, such as exercise programs, facilitation techniques, muscle reeducation, gait training, and utilizing the physical properties of the water.
• Maintains medical record documentation.
• PT supervision of PTA and mentoring guidance.

Qualifications
