Job summary

Savin Lake Services, a Jones Lake Management Company, is hiring a Field Biologist in Hale, MI. The role requires 40+ hours per week during peak season, with on-the-job training and opportunities for continuing education.

You will manage customers' aquatic resources through seasonal visits and support products with technical guidance. Responsibilities include data entry, analysis of customers' needs, and problem solving with industry partners.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Biology, Water Resources, Fisheries related field.
• Must be well organized, highly motivated, and team-oriented.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to operate in boats and be a strong swimmer.

Responsibilities

• Focus on Commercial Aquatic Applications within pond management.
• Develop and initiate client management plans.
• Assess clients' lake or pond and select appropriate management protocols.
• Perform water and sediment sampling.
• Identify and manage aquatic plants.
• Install aeration systems and decorative fountains; operate machinery.

Associate's Degree or higher in Biology, Water Resources, Fisheries related field
