JOB FUNCTIONS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 1. Direct staff to ensure proper maintenance, operation and usage of all equipment.
• 2. Organize and administer a series of regularly scheduled activities.
• 3. Work closely with the instructional department to ensure the curriculum is followed.
• 4. Recommend revisions or modifications in curriculum.
• 5. Develop a program of continuous evaluation for all programs run in the Aquatic Center.
• 6. Hire and retain staff for the Aquatic Center.
• 7. Evaluate instructional and non-instructional staff.
• 8. Prepare the Aquatic Center budget.
• 9. Purchase supplies and equipment for the Aquatic Center.
• 10. Supervise general operation of the Aquatic Center.
• 11. Follow health and safety standards as prescribed by local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
• 12. Schedule Aquatic Center facility needs for practice use and interscholastic aquatic competitions.
• 13. Assumes responsibility for contest management at all home interscholastic aquatic competitions.
• 14. Work to coordinate the efforts of the swimming club with the aquatic program.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Deputy Superintendent.

EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR FORMAL TRAINING

• Proper certification issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board as an Administrator or Director is required.
