Job summary

Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Manager, Plant Engineering to oversee maintenance of the Aquarium and Animal Care Facility (ACF). You will work independently and in teams to deliver a pristine guest experience and reliable operations.

The role requires leadership in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and fabrication, plus reading drawings, keeping records, and advancing preventative maintenance. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Requires working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in HVAC, machinery, carpentry, painting, and fabrication tasks.
• Review drawings and technical aspects of all Aquarium systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and generate reports, including budget requests and PO justifications.
• Contribute to the preventative maintenance program for all facilities and life support equipment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
