Summary Objective:

To lead dynamic and engaging group fitness classes that exceed member expectations, foster a positive atmosphere, and contribute to a thriving fitness community. Collaborating with the Group Fitness Director and team, the role aims to deliver exceptional fitness experiences while promoting services that drive member satisfaction and retention.

Essential Functions:

• Deliver the Ultimate Fitness Experience to every member, every time
• Instruct safe and effective group fitness classes that exceed member expectations and provide a positive experience
• Create a positive class atmosphere and motivate members to reach their goals
• Teach classes in accordance with industry standards, ensuring safety and effectiveness
• Promote club activities and programs to class attendees

Job Responsibilities:

• Be available to members before and after class
• Represent the club, staff, and company positively at all times
• Maintain class statistics and records as directed
• Track time, schedule, and attendance in MotionVibe, following payroll procedures
• Follow substitution policies, minimizing use of substitutes to no more than 50%
• Attend all mandatory meetings and training sessions
• Maintain certifications and complete continuing education to stay current
• Replace equipment and organize studio after classes to ensure cleanliness and readiness
• Report safety issues, injuries, or equipment/studio problems to management
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work early mornings, late nights, and weekends as necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required Experience, Education & Certifications:

• Nationally recognized group fitness certification from an accepted provider or equivalent degree
• Secondary certification if class requires it
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Experience teaching classes preferred

Relocation:
