Responsibilities

• Performs initial investigations of protective service reports for APS criteria.
• Evaluates risk to clients and takes action to ensure safety.
• Provides follow-up, consultations and resources to stabilize the situation.
• Initiates guardianship as a last resort for incapacitated adults.
• Maintains required documentation and reports within promptness standards.
• Keeps knowledge of policies, laws, trends, and developments via training.
• Other professional responsibilities as assigned.
