Job summary

Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to join General Internal Medicine as a Primary Care Access & Coverage APP. This in-person, full-time role focuses on in-basket management and same-day visits, bridging patient communication with acute care, and supporting clinicians during absences.

Faculty appointment with Geisel School of Medicine is included.

Qualifications

• APRN licensure in NH (or eligible)
• PA licensure in NH (or eligible) with accredited program
• National specialty certification (FNP/AGPCNP or NCCPA)
• DEA registration eligibility
• BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years primary care experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provide in-basket coverage for physicians and APPs during absences.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and staff for high-quality care.
• Provide same-day visits for established patients with focused HPI and exam.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
