Summary of Job Duties:

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

The APRN/PA is a skilled healthcare provider with specialized certification, regulated by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing or Medical Board. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating pediatric patients, serving as a clinical resource across the care continuum.

Qualifications:

APRN:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least a Master's in Nursing.
• National Certification as an APRN; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification preferred.

PA:

• Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program.
• Current Arkansas Physician Assistant license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct clinical services following protocols and evidence-based standards.
• Obtain health histories, conduct physical exams, interpret data.
• Document findings, order and interpret tests.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Maintain proper documentation.
• Provide family-centered care.
• Use current research and evidence in practice.
• Participate in staff education and mentor others.
• Lead and collaborate within the team.
• Communicate with families effectively.
• Adhere to policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement or research projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience.
