Responsibilities

• Consults and collaborates with physicians and other health care providers to coordinate care.
• Documents services according to policies and procedures, including medical records, billing documents and care plans.
• Performs procedures and treatments as needed and per established protocols.
• Promotes patient wellness through education and care planning.
• Initiates drug therapy when appropriate after physician consultation.
