Qualifications

• Masters or higher in APN from an accredited program is required.
• Okla. RN license and APRN license with prescriptive authority.
• 1 year related experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare delivery and HIPAA/OSHA policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical services including assessment, intervention and evaluation of care within the scope of practice.
• Consults and collaborates with physicians and other providers for coordinated patient care.
• Documents services per policies, including medical records and care plans.
• Performs procedures and treatments per protocols and may recommend procedures.
• Promotes patient wellness through education and counseling.
• Uses advanced clinical knowledge to resolve patient questions and needs.
• Initiates appropriate diagnostic testing and, where applicable, drug therapy after physician consultation.
• Assists in identifying needed supplies and participates in quality initiatives and safety functions.
