Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky is seeking a registered APRN to join our team on a PRN split 2nd/3rd shift.

The Nurse Practitioner provides care under a designated physician through a collaborative practice agreement, including patient assessment, diagnostic testing, and development of treatment plans. You will coordinate care, educate patients and families, and support collaboration across disciplines while adhering to clinical pathways and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program and certified or eligible for National Certification.
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or PA-C in the state where work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients including assessment, evaluation, interpretation of data and coordination of plans of care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of clinical pathways and applicable policies.
• Initiates orders within APRN/PA-C scope and coordinates care with physicians and staff.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program

Licensed NP/PA-C in the practicing state
