Summary of Job Duties: The APRN/PA will extend the patient care and administrative services for the UAMS Women and Infants Service Line (WISL) physicians in the outpatient settings. They will provide comprehensive health assessments, determine diagnoses, implement treatment plans, perform procedures, and prescribe medicines and treatments. They will manage health issues for patients, independently or in collaboration with physicians, serve as healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate, and coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure timely and appropriate care.
