Job summary

Ohio’s Hospice is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to deliver expert hospice and palliative care across the Newark and Columbus area. The APRN will assess complex patient needs, develop and coordinate individualized plans of care, and manage pain and symptoms to improve quality of life.

You will collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.

Qualifications

• MSN required.
• APRN board certification required.
• Active Ohio RN license with no board actions.
• DEA license active.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to travel within Newark/Columbus area.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced hospice and palliative care to patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Diagnose and manage conditions within APRN scope.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Manage pain and symptoms to improve quality of life.
• Document assessments and plans in EMR.
• Travel to Newark/Columbus area to deliver patient care.
