Job summary

Mayo Clinic Arizona is seeking a Master’s prepared Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) – Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to serve as a clinical expert and nursing leader. You will partner with interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based practice, improve patient outcomes, and support quality and practice excellence across specialty areas.

Qualifications

Master's degree with a major in nursing with a Clinical Nurse Specialist focus.
Experience as a CNS preferred.
Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient needs and CNS workload.
Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree preferred.
Five years of successful work experience in nursing with two years in the specialty area preferred.
As a condition of employment, individuals working with addictions services must be free from problematic substance use for a minimum of the immediately preceding two years at time of hire.
PCU or Critical Care background required.

Lead within the three spheres of influence (Patient/Client, Nurses and Nursing Practice, Organization/System).
