Mayo Clinic is inviting Master’s-prepared Clinical Nurse Specialists to apply for opportunities in Arizona. As a CNS, you will serve as a clinical expert and nursing leader, partnering with interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based practice, improve patient outcomes, and support quality and practice excellence across specialty areas.

The CNS works within the three spheres of influence and will participate in nursing leadership.

Qualifications

Master’s degree with a major in nursing with a Clinical Nurse Specialist focus.
Experience as a CNS preferred.
Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient needs and CNS workload.
Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree preferred.
Five years of successful work experience in nursing with two years in the specialty area preferred.
As a condition of employment, individuals working with addictions services must be free from problematic substance use for a minimum of the immediately preceding two years at time of hire.
PCU or Critical Care background required.

Responsibilities

Serve as a clinical expert and nursing leader, partnering with interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes.
Lead CNS initiatives across specialty areas and participate in nursing leadership activities.
Support quality and practice excellence within the unit and organization.
