Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing in New Kensington seeks a senior quality engineer to own APQP planning, PPAP, and PFMEA actions. You will lead MRB and RCCA to eliminate root causes while guiding cross-functional teams to verify requirements with customers and suppliers.

We value executives with strong data interpretation, ERP/MRP fluency, and excellent communication skills to mentor peers and deliver targeted training across the site.

Qualifications

• ASQ CQE or 2-year engineering degree with 5+ years in manufacturing quality.
• Experience in Battery Production, Machining, and/or Electronic Assembly.
• Leadership, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Advanced analytical ability to interpret data and influence decisions that improve performance.
• Executive-ready communicator with strong presentation skills.
• Fluent with ERP/MRP systems (Infor Syteline, SAP) and planning tools.
• Power user of Excel, SharePoint, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Travel 10%–25% as needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Slash nonconformances by applying statistical methods, metrology, and rigorous reporting to data.
• Own APQP quality planning: build control/inspection plans, manage PPAP, complete FAIR, drive FMEA/PFMEA actions.
• Lead MRB activities and RCCA to eliminate root causes and lock in sustainable fixes.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and production teams to verify requirements and resolve issues fast.
• Mentor peers and deliver targeted training to raise site-wide quality capability.
• Execute audits across documentation, parts, processes, products, suppliers, and customers.
