Job summary

ShopRite of Daleville in Moscow, PA is seeking an Appy/Deli Associate to support the daily operations of the Appy/Deli Department and deliver a great customer experience. The role requires maintaining a neat, stocked department and performing tasks safely and efficiently according to company policy.

The position involves operating slicing equipment, preparing products for sale, and following procedures for receiving, pricing, and inventory control while ensuring cleanliness and safety throughout

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Must be able to operate department equipment such as slicer, scale, can-opener, wrapping machine, rotisserie, fryolator, cheese grater/cutter, case cutter and stove/oven.
• Must lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Operate slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli product.
• Prepare Appy/Deli product for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, pricing, stocking, and rotation of products.
• Handle damaged and spoiled products per policy.
• Maintain low inventory awareness and report spoilage.
• Keep displays stocked and organized.
• Ensure refrigeration equipment functions properly and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Dress and groom according to company policy.
