Job summary

ShopRite of Clinton is seeking an Appy/Deli Clerk to support the deli department and deliver great customer service. You will assist the Appy/Deli Manager in daily operations, maintain attractive displays, and ensure product rotation and safety in a fast-paced store.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing long shifts, and working in varying temperatures. Training emphasizes safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency, with opportunities for growth within the Clinton store.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to operate deli equipment as required.
• Able to stand and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Able to work with fresh, dried, and/or processed products.

Responsibilities

• Use a slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli products.
• Prepare Appy/Deli products for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and pricing.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise (25–50 lbs).
• Display product attractively and rotate stock.
• Assist the Department Manager as needed.
