Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Cyber Security Product Manager, AppSec to lead the multi-year roadmap for Application Security and align with enterprise risk. You will partner with Security Engineering Enablement and Architecture to translate security needs into scalable developer workflows and orchestrate strategic evaluations of AppSec tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
At least 7 years in cybersecurity or IT.
At least 6 years evaluating or supporting development of cybersecurity capabilities.
At least 3 years in application security.

Responsibilities

Own multi-year product roadmap for Application Security aligned with risk appetite and threats.
Partner with Security Engineering Enablement and Architecture to translate security requirements into developer workflows.
Lead evaluation of AppSec tools (SAST/DAST/SCA) for ROI and best-in-class tooling.
Define product strategy for AI-application security and secure AI integration into SDLC.
Evangelize AppSec through Office Hours and forums for executive-level decision making.
Establish governance for vulnerability disposition with clear SLAs and audit trails.
