Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking an Apps Development Analyst for the OSU Health Plan Information Systems IT department. The role focuses on developing and implementing applications to meet administrative, management and customer needs, while analyzing requests and proposing viable solutions.

You will design and document programs, modify existing applications, and develop procedures that consider system capacity and timing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer and information science or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT with application development or end-user support in a customer-facing role, with SQL and relational databases, and Java or similar OO languages.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript; 2 years of relevant experience required, 2-4 years preferred.
