Job summary

Bedford College Group is seeking a Teaching and Learning Mentor in Apprenticeships to join our team at Bedford College. You will mentor learners, monitor progress, and coordinate with employers to support apprentices in achieving their goals.

The role requires a Level 3 teaching qualification plus Level 2 English and Maths and involves safeguarding, wellbeing and collaboration with diverse partners to ensure excellent learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Level 3 teaching qualification required.
• Level 2 English and Maths.
• Experience supporting learners, tutorials and pastoral care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group mentoring to apprentices.
• Support progress monitoring, reviewing learner progress and interventions.
• Deliver wellbeing and safeguarding activities and signpost to specialist services.
• Coordinate with employers, parents, staff and external agencies.
• Promote safeguarding, equality and inclusion within the learning environment.
