Job summary

Aalbu Brothers is seeking a motivated Apprentice Welder/Truck Upfitter to join our team. This hands-on role offers training in welding, metal fabrication, and custom truck upfits on a variety of vehicles.

You will assist skilled welders, learn MIG/TIG/stick welding, and help install equipment and accessories to meet client specs. Strong work ethic and teamwork are essential for success in our shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in welding, metal fabrication, and automotive modifications.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work under supervision.
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced welders in fabricating and assembling metal parts and components.
• Perform truck upfitting tasks including installation of equipment and custom modifications.
• Learn and apply MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following safety protocols and standards.
• Inspect and test completed welds and installations to ensure quality and durability.
• Operate hand and power tools required for welding and truck upfitting duties.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and customer specifications.
