Job summary

SBA Communications is seeking an Apprentice, Tower in Biddeford, ME to perform construction duties for expedited deployment of services. You will assist with reading site plans, installing antennas and lines, and supporting supervisors to ensure quality work.

The role requires climbing up to 500 feet, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel domestically as needed; 2-week Tower U training is provided to ensure safety and competency.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED preferred;<1 year tower construction or relevant experience.
• 0–2 years general labor or construction experience.
• Must be physically able to climb to heights of up to 500 feet; valid driver’s license.

The company reserves the right to modify or terminate benefit plans at any time, consistent with applicable law.The compensation range for this role is:$20.00 - $30.00Your Next Career Opportunity – Apprentice, TowerPerform construction duties on a daily basis ensuring quality construction for expedited commercial deployment of services as directed by Superintendent and/or Foreman.What You Will Do – Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport tower construction and antenna and line installation activities as directed.Ability to read site plans and tower drawings.Distribute, pick up and organize tools and materials.Work with Construction Supervisors and Foreman to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials.Complete work in a timely and efficient manner as delegated by Construction Supervisor and Foreman.Perform construction activities as directed.Work with Construction Supervisors and Foreman to maintain a safe job site.Keep safety barriers correctly installed.Must be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays and evening hours.Must be able to satisfactorily complete all aspects of SBA’s Tower U training classes.Other projects and duties as assigned.What You’ll Need – Qualifications & RequirementsH.S.
