Job summary

Centerline Communications LLC is hiring an Apprentice Telecom Lineman for our Fairfield, Maine location. The role involves reading maps, climbing poles, fiber installation, and operating a bucket truck while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include stocking the crew truck, completing daily paperwork, and assisting with pole transfers. Travel, overtime, and on-call work may be required; OSHA-10 certification within 90 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be on time and have a valid driver's license.
• Able to work at heights and operate a bucket truck.
• Willing to take OSHA-10 within 90 days.
• Willing to travel, work nights/weekends, and be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read maps/designs and assist with fiber installation and pole transfers.
• Climb poles and work safely in an aerial position.
• Build strand, lash cable and fiber; stock and organize truck for the day.
• Handle crew paperwork, daily production, and on-site documentation.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
