Lexus of Seattle, part of the Holman family, seeks an Apprentice Technician in Lynnwood, WA to assist with repair and maintenance under supervision. You will gain hands-on experience, receive factory training, and work toward ASE certification while contributing to customer satisfaction.

You will organize work efficiently, maintain tools, and communicate with the Service Advisor to ensure high-quality repairs and positive outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• Automotive technical experience or related technical school program required.
• Automotive manufacturer training is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of customer vehicles under supervision.
• Acquire and maintain product knowledge including repair procedures.
• Identify and list conditions on repair orders with CCRs.

The Apprentice Technician’s quality of work directly influences customer satisfaction, loyalty, and departmental profits. You will also…Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the product, including how to repair and maintain the product.Obtain manufacturer training and/or (ASE) certification as determined necessary by the Service Manager.Properly maintain tools and equipment when performing service work and follow correct safety practices.Organize work and work efficiently, especially when moving cars or obtaining parts.Accurately identify and list the conditions, cause and remedy (“CCR”) on the repair ordersStrive to complete all repairs correctly the first time, thereby avoiding comebacks.Communicate with the Service Advisor when a job is started, interrupted or finished.Qualifications:Automotive technical experience and/or technical school program experience requiredAutomotive manufacturer training preferred, but not requiredHigh school diploma or the equivalentValid driver’s license and a good driving recordAll applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment requirements including background checks, DMV, and drug screeningAt Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
