Best Defense Fire Protection & Security in Waunakee, WI is seeking candidates to start as an Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter. After a short trial period as a field helper, you can begin a 5 year program to become a licensed journeyman sprinkler fitter, with NFPA 13/13R training in Southern Wisconsin.

Requirements include at least one year of construction experience or two years in general construction, strong tool skills, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in construction fields such as plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or electrician.
• Strong mechanical power and hand tool skills are must.
• Willingness to work hard and efficiently to get the job done

Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter – Waunakee (Madison)

Job Summary:

Best Defense Fire Protection is seeking candidates with construction skill and experience interested in learning a new trade. Qualified candidate, after a short trial period as a field helper can become an apprentice and begin a 5 year program to become a licensed journeyman sprinkler fitter. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE IN PLUMBING NEW CONSTRUCTION INSTALLATON, SPRINKLER INSTALLATION, OR TWO YEARS OF GENERAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE.

Qualified applicant will learn installation of NFPA 13 and NFPA 13R sprinkler systems throughout Southern Wisconsin.

Qualified applicants will have the following skills, experiences, or traits:

• Minimum one year experience in construction fields such as plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or electrician. Applicant must already have strong tool skills and construction experience.
• Strong mechanical power and hand tool skills are must.
• Willingness to work hard and efficiently to get the job done
• Reasonable driving record
