Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Spacecraft Technician to support mechanical production, spacecraft integration, and test activities at the Centennial, CO site. You will rotate across production and test areas, receive hands-on training, and develop into a well‑rounded technician with exposure to multiple disciplines.

The role emphasizes learning, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support spacecraft mechanical assembly and integration.
  • Assist with installation and removal of spacecraft components and flight hardware.
  • Perform basic mechanical operations with training and tools.
  • Support spacecraft and component test setup and execution.
  • Assist with environmental and functional test activities as trained.
  • Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and documentation.
  • Learn proper use of tools and production equipment.
  • Maintain shop organization and safety standards.
  • Document completed work and communicate discrepancies.

YOUR MISSION

Seeking an entry-level Apprentice Spacecraft Technician who can be utilized across the production shop based on workload and program needs, with primary support focused on Mechanical Production, Spacecraft Integration, and Test . This role is intended to develop an individual with limited industry experience into a well-rounded spacecraft technician through hands-on training and cross-functional exposure.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support spacecraft mechanical assembly and integration.
  • Assist with installation and removal of spacecraft components and flight hardware.
  • Perform basic mechanical operations such as fastening, torquing, taping, and hardware installation after appropriate training.
  • Support spacecraft and component test setup and execution.
  • Assist with environmental and functional test activities as trained and qualified.
  • Read and follow work instructions, procedures, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Learn proper use of hand tools, power tools, torque tools, measuring equipment, and production equipment.
  • Support hardware movement, material handling, shop organization, and general production needs.
  • Maintain FOD, ESD, cleanliness, safety, and hardware-handling standards.
  • Document completed work and communicate discrepancies or issues to technicians, leads, engineers, and management.
  • Cross-train in multiple production and test functions.
  • Flex between work areas as production priorities and staffing needs change.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-1 year of manufacturing, mechanical, technical, automotive, aerospace, or similar hands-on experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Comfortable learning and working with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Strong willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in multiple areas of the production shop as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Trade school, technical school, automotive, manufacturing, mechanical, aviation, electronics, or similar hands-on experience.
  • Exposure to engineering drawings or work instructions.
  • Basic experience with torque tools or measurement equipment.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Interest in spacecraft manufacturing, integration, and testing.

COMPENSATION

Base Salary:

  • Senior Technician- $22-34/hr

this position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Work Location - this a fully onsite position based out of our Centennial, CO office.
  • Work environment -the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.
  • Physical demands -the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
