Apprentice Plumber

First-year Roto-Rooter service technicians can expect to earn an average of $55,000. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience.

We provide an initial 12 weeks of paid training plus ongoing training at our plumbing school. You’ll earn while you learn, and we’ll support you through the plumber licensing process to help you advance your career.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Using your skills to diagnose and solve plumbing and drain problems.
2. Providing cost estimates and closing sales during service calls.
3. Performing necessary repairs for customers.
4. Documenting estimates and invoices, both in writing and via a provided smartphone.
5. Collecting payments and moving on to the next call.

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude is desirable; prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
