Job summary

Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing is seeking an Apprentice Plumber in Northwest Washington. You will support the team, assist with residential and light commercial plumbing work, and learn under a Lead Plumber while adhering to codes and safety standards.

We value hands-on experience, reliability, and a willingness to travel within Barron service areas. The role involves lifting and physical tasks and requires a WA Plumbing Trainee card and a valid US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Has 1-2 years of working experience or related hands-on projects.
• Valid Washington State Plumbing Trainee card is required.
• Experience with hand and power tools is preferred.
• Legal to work in the United States and able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Support team members while delivering customer service.
• Assist with residential retrofit and light commercial plumbing installations and repairs.
• Follow plumbing codes and safety standards on site.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
• Willing to travel to Barron service areas and lift 50–75 lbs (up to 100 lbs with help).
• Perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, crawling and ladder work.

At Barron, our Apprentice Plumber will:

• Support team members while consistently delivering world-class customer service
• Assist with residential retrofit and light commercial plumbing installations and repairs
• Work with a variety of piping materials, fittings, and plumbing systems under the guidance of a Lead Plumber
• Learn and follow applicable plumbing codes, health and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Willingness to travel to accommodate all Barron service areas
• Safely lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing 50-75 lbs., and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Perform physical job tasks including bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and working in confined or overhead spaces

Compensation:

• Full-Time
• $22.00 - $25.00 per hour; DOE

Experience & Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of working experience (required)
• Valid Washington State Plumbing Trainee card (required)
• Experience working with your hands (i.e., personal automotive projects, woodworking)
• Experience working with hand tools and power tools
• Valid Washington State driver’s license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
