Job summary

Yellowstone Local in Austin, TX is seeking experienced professionals to support construction and home services teams. This role offers hands-on plumbing training, mentoring from experienced plumbers, and the chance to gain field experience toward becoming a licensed plumber.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience.
• Current Texas Plumber's Apprentice registration preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, piping, fixtures, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to perform physically demanding plumbing work and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and service work.
• Install and repair water supply lines, drain lines, faucets, toilets, fixtures, and other plumbing components.
• Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing problems to determine appropriate repairs.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and plumbing materials.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment.
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and job materials.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other team members.
• Continue building your plumbing knowledge through hands-on training and field experience.

Your New Role

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to reliably commute to job sites throughout the Austin area
