Job summary

Yellowstone Local is seeking experienced plumbing professionals for opportunities with construction and plumbing employers in the San Antonio, TX area. You will work on active construction plumbing projects, assisting with rough-in, top-out, and finish installations and installing water supply lines, drains, vents, and fixtures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience.
• Construction or new construction plumbing experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, piping, fixtures, DWV systems, and water supply systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow plumbing plans, measurements, and job-site instructions.
• Valid driver's license preferred when driving is required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rough-in, top-out, and finish plumbing installations.
• Install water supply lines, drain, waste, and vent piping, fixtures, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing components.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and plumbing materials according to project specifications.
• Assist experienced and licensed plumbers with new construction plumbing installations.
• Read and follow basic plumbing plans, specifications, and job site instructions.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment.
• Coordinate with plumbers, supervisors, general contractors, and other trades on the job site.

Your New Role

• Work on construction plumbing projects throughout San Antonio, TX and Selma, TX

• Assist with rough-in, top-out, and finish plumbing installations

• Install water supply lines, drain, waste, and vent piping, fixtures, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing components

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and plumbing materials according to project specifications

• Assist experienced and licensed plumbers with new construction plumbing installations

• Read and follow basic plumbing plans, specifications, and job site instructions

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment

• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and job materials

• Keep construction sites clean, organized, and safe

• Follow company procedures, OSHA safety requirements, and applicable Texas plumbing codes

• Coordinate professionally with plumbers, supervisors, general contractors, and other trades on the job site

• Continue developing your construction plumbing knowledge through hands-on field experience

• Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience

• Construction or new construction plumbing experience preferred

• Current Texas Plumber's Apprentice registration preferred, or willingness to obtain it

• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, piping, fixtures, DWV systems, and water supply systems

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow plumbing plans, measurements, and job-site instructions

• Valid driver's license preferred when driving is required for the position

• Ability to work effectively with plumbers, construction crews, and other trades

• Reliable and professional approach to attendance and job-site responsibilities

• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of construction plumbing work, which may include lifting and carrying job materials, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to perform job duties in indoor and outdoor construction environments

• Ability to reliably report to assigned job sites throughout San Antonio, TX and Selma, TX
