Job summary

American National Insulation, Inc. is seeking an apprentice installer in California to support field operations installing insulation, fireproofing, and related products.

You'll follow work orders, adhere to safety guidelines, review daily schedules, load materials, and complete site inspections. This entry-level role requires being in an apprenticeship program and a valid driver's license; local travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Must be registered in a Union Plasterers/Laborers apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Install company products (insulation, fireproofing) per work orders and safety guidelines.
• Review daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with materials, tools and equipment.
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections; unload and stage materials.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns; perform warehouse duties as required.

Your Responsibilities

As an apprentice, you will be responsible for all aspects of installing company products according to work order, manufacturer, quality and safety guidelines. Products include insulation, fireproofing, and any other products sold by the company. You must be registered in a Union Plasterers/Laborers apprenticeship program. Install products as allowed by associated collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement. Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day. Complete vehicle safety, job site inspections. Safely unload and stage material at job site. Report on safety, customer or quality concerns. Perform warehouse-related duties as required. Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned per the CBAs.

Your Qualifications

Minimum of 18 years of age. If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid drivers’ license is required THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Type of Travel Required: Local; Out of town travel as required. Daily travel to job sites.

Physical Requirements

Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products. Climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing, as needed.
