Job summary

Buckeye Partners Lp is seeking an Apprentice Pipeliner to support terminal, pipeline and plant operations. You will learn to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment with guidance from journey-level staff, gaining hands-on exposure across ROW, regulatory compliance and documentation.

The program emphasizes safety, environmental awareness and operational readiness, with a focus on pipeline operations and early career development in the energy infrastructure sector.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in terminal, pipeline or plant operations.
• General knowledge or experience in the petroleum industry.
• Up to 15% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Right of Way: Learn damage prevention, ROW investigations, 3rd party crossings, and property owner awareness under supervision.
• Introduction to Regulatory Compliance: Learn environmental regulations, safety directives and procedures for compliance.
• Customer Service: Maintain good relationships and respond to inquiries as needed.
• Introduction to Documentation: Learn to maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
• Training on Emergency Response: Attend Haz-Whopper training for emergency response.
• Introduction to Cathodic Protection: Learn CP theory, inspect CP systems, and perform measurements.
• Pipeline Operations: Gain full working knowledge of pipeline operations.
• And other duties as assigned.
