Job summary

Buckeye Partners is seeking an Apprentice Pipeliner to join our team in the United States. This role focuses on learning to maintain and repair pipeline and terminal facilities with supervision, while gaining exposure to ROW, regulatory compliance and safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and related experience in terminal, pipeline or plant operations, plus general knowledge of the petroleum industry. Up to 15% travel may be required as part of a broad training program.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities under supervision.
• Learn Right of Way, regulatory compliance and environmental directives.
• Develop customer service skills and respond to inquiries.
• Learn to maintain proper documentation for work performed.
• Attend Haz-whopper emergency response training.
• Learn Cathodic Protection concepts and testing.
• Acquire working knowledge of pipeline operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
