Job summary

Studs is hiring Apprentices for its Roseville studio to train as professional piercers. The program begins in August, lasts six weeks, and apprentices will earn $19/hour during training plus tips.

Graduates become part-time Associate Piercers at the Roseville studio, earning $24/hour plus tips, with a flexible schedule and weekend availability. Apprentices travel to one of Studs’ studio locations for the training (paid).

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least two years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (venipunctures/finger sticks) preferred.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have weekend availability (Sat/Sun).
• Reliable attendance up to 29 hours per week, per local laws.
• Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day.
• Able to visually inspect ear anatomy for advanced piercings.
• Able to deliver piercings with a steady hand.
• Must lift 20 lbs and handle chemicals safely.
• Travel to a studio location for training (paid).
• Driven, problem-solver with integrity and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 6-week paid piercing training program (Aug kickoff).
• After training, transition to part-time Associate Piercer at Roseville studio.
• Provide customer-focused piercing services and brand education.
• Maintain safety, sterilization, and inventory records.
