Job summary

Harrison, Walker and Harper is seeking an Apprentice Mechanical in Bonham, Texas. The role offers $16–$18/hour with negotiable pay based on experience, along with generous paid time off and retirement benefits.

What You’ll Do:

As an Apprentice Mechanical you will perform the lay-out and installation of mechanical and industrial systems utilizing the appropriate tools, equipment and trade skills as per plans/specifications as well as directives from supervision.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Complies with all applicable standards, policies and procedures, including safety procedures in the performance of assigned tasks.
• Utilizes proper hoisting and rigging procedures for placing equipment and auxiliary components.
• Obtains and maintains required certifications/licenses as applicable.
• Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains mechanical systems, supports and related equipment for all types of mechanical/industrial operations.
• Demonstrates the ability to read and understand project specifications, system operations and blueprints.
• Cuts, bends, assembles, installs, and connects various mechanical components utilizing necessary tools and equipment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Apprentice in mechanical/industrial settings.
• Strong ability to read and work from blueprints and technical diagrams.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and team collaboration.
• Relevant trade certifications and/or licenses (preferred but not required — we support continuing education).
