Anchor Glass Container LLC invites applicants for an Apprentice Maintenance Mechanic in Shakopee, MN. The role progresses through an 8,000-hour apprenticeship with training Monday–Friday 7am–3pm, then rotating shifts including 8am–4pm, 12mid–8am, and 4pm–12mid.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in pursuing an industrial maintenance career in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with chains, belts, rollers, conveyors, palletizers, and inspection equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Repair, overhaul and service mechanized equipment (hoists, conveyors, forklifts, etc).
• Perform carpentry, painting, plumbing and basic machine tool work as needed.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and equipment inspections.
