Job summary

Anchor Glass Container LLC is seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Technician to support preventive maintenance and repairs on glass manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair conveyors, furnaces, lehrs, and packaging systems while following safety policies and quality standards.

Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate hands-on ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment history documentation is desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on glass manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform installations, alignments, adjustments, calibrations, and changeovers as needed.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively; maintain accurate records.
