Thai Summit America in Howell, MI is seeking an experienced machinist to support our in-house machine shop, including Large Vertical CNC Mill, Small CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Bridgeport and surface grinder operations. You will read and interpret prints, write basic G-code programs, set up machines, inspect parts for tolerance, and train newer Associates while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 5 years’ machining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of machining experience with competent blueprint reading.
• Ability to write basic programs and interpret CAD drawings.
• Proven reliability in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Complete machining tasks using various machines including CNC mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Train new associates and promote good communication across shifts.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area.
• Read prints and ensure parts meet tolerance and quality standards.
