AlphaGraphics - US398 in Cary, NC is seeking an Apprentice Large Format Print Operator to join our small, fast-paced team. You will assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial printers to produce banners, signage, and graphics.

This entry-level role focuses on hands-on learning, teamwork, and reliability, with opportunities to learn RIP software and basic design tools (Adobe Illustrator/InDesign) and perform finishing tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate roll-to-roll and flatbed large format printers.
• Prepare files using RIP software and basic design tools (Illustrator/InDesign).
• Load/unload substrates and change ink systems safely.
• Inspect prints for color accuracy and imperfections before delivery.
• Perform trimming, mounting, laminating, and grommeting under supervision.
• Assist with daily/weekly/monthly printer maintenance and cleaning.
• Assist with installation of large format graphics indoors and outdoors.
• Support other duties as assigned.
