Alphagraphicsfranchise is seeking an Apprentice Large Format Print Operator to join our Cary, NC team. This full-time role involves hands-on operation of large format printers, file prep, material handling, and quality checks to produce banners and signage.

The candidate should be reliable, collaborative, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment, with basic computer skills and physical stamina for lifting up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand measurements and perform basic math/unit conversions.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate roll-to-roll and flatbed printers.
• Prepare files using RIP software and Adobe tools.
• Load/unload heavy substrates and change ink systems safely.
• Inspect prints for color accuracy and defects.
• Finish by trimming, mounting, laminating, grommeting.
• Maintain printers with routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Assist with indoor/outdoor graphic installations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
