Job summary

AlphaGraphics of Carrollton, TX is seeking an experienced operator for the wide format production area. You will operate and maintain the equipment, ensuring high-quality prints and precise finishing to meet customer expectations.

The role requires hands-on work with large-format printers, cutters, routers, and laminators, plus knowledge of substrates and color management. Independent, detail-oriented professionals who can manage multiple jobs under deadline are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience operating large-format digital printers.
• 6+ months experience fabricating signage and displays with various materials.
• Some experience setting up cutters, routers, plotters.
• Knowledge of substrates: papers, plastics, vinyl, boards.
• Experience with color management and inks.
• Experience with finishing and installing signage efficiently.
• Ability to break down jobs into tasks and manage workflow.

Job description

AlphaGraphics of Carrollton, TX is seeking an experienced, highly-motivated team member for our large format production area with diverse knowledge of digital printing, fabrication, cutting, and finishing techniques. As an operator, you will be responsible for the day to day operation and maintenance of all relevant equipment in our wide format department, and, to produce quality finished products that meet our customer's expectations. The right candidate will be a hard working self-starter, and will be able to work at many times without supervision, while still working efficiently to complete jobs in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• 6 months + experience operating large-format digital printers on the newest technology
• 6 months + experience fabricating signage and displays using wood, acrylics, laminates, metals, vinyl, dimensional lettering, and various printed substrates.
• Some experience setting up and operating cutters, routers, plotters
• Knowledgeable regarding various substrates -- papers, plastics, vinyl, rigid boards, etc.
• Experience with color management and a variety of inks
• Experience with finishing and installing signage and displays efficiently and accurately
• Able to break down jobs into tasks and organize workflow to complete project on deadline

Experience operating any of the following specific or comparable equipment is desirable

• HP Latex 570
• HP R2000 Plus
• Zund Router
• Large Format Laminator
