GEMCO Constructors, LLC, headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, is a mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems, and service contractor providing comprehensive design and build solutions throughout the United States.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Apprentice with at least one year of hands-on experience in Mechanical HVAC. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of the trade and a strong desire to advance their skills through practical experience and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing ductwork, equipment, and curbs.
• Assisting experienced professionals in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Utilizing hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Adhering to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of practical experience in Mechanical HVAC.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, or relevant procedures.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with industry-specific safety standards and regulations.
• High School graduation or equivalent.
• Ability to utilize a variety of power tools.
• Pass a background check.
• Ability to comply with all safety requirements, policies, and procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Standing, bending, reaching, and lifting for the majority of the workday.
• Lifting repetitively up to 50 pounds.
• Working at heights of up to 100 feet or more.
• Climbing ladders, working from scaffolding and lifts.
• Driving long distances (up to 14 hours per day) between job sites.
• Performing other manual labor as required.
